Our Capabilities and Machines

We have 3 different waterjet machines each with their own additions to our capabilities. We also stock all the standard alloys and thicknesses of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum to handle the occasional super-expedite order.

We can cut virtually any material, including stainless steel, steel, aluminum, titanium, carbon fiber, tungsten, molybdenum, closed cell  or open cell foam, brass, copper, thin or thick rubber, glass, silicon bronze, HDPE, UHMW, plastic of all sorts, plywood and other woods, stone, and fiberglass.

We can cut thicknesses of up to 6″ in steel and 8″ in aluminum.

This lower-quality, lower-cost separation cut was from 5.5″ thick steel.

Our Machines

Our largest machine is a Flow 4020c 6’x13′ table with Dynamic Cutting head and 5th Axis cutting capability.

Cutting Brittle Materials

Our newest machine is an OMAX 60120 WaterJet. It also has a pneumatic drill attachment for pre-drilling more brittle materials. This can be particularly useful for waterjetting plastics, carbon fiber, fiberglass, acrylics, and polycarbonates. The initial velocity of a waterjet can sometimes cause de-lamination or cracking of more brittle materials. Pre-drilling with the pneumatic drill leaves a hole for the waterjet to utilize as its piercing hole, eliminating the stress to the material.

Our workhorse is the Flow IFB 6012 with Dynamic Cutting head.
